Re: 325 Fg 22.07.43
Frank,
you may try to ask to the italian service "TUTTOSTORIA" if they still have got a copy left: I don't think so because the book don't appear in their catalogue since a year. The e-mail adress is: info@tuttostoria.it Then, a book seller in my town (Piacenza, Italy) still has got some copies. If you are interested I may give you his adress. Alex, the date of this combat as reported in the Mc Dowell book is wrong: the right one is 22 july. I've read both italian reports and 325th Combat Claim form, and all state that the combat was on 22 july. Italian fighters were not ingaged in any combat on 21 july. Best regards Gianandrea Bussi |

Re: 325 Fg 22.07.43
Gianandrea,
Thanks for your note. I checked with another Italian bookstore that I have purchased from (avialibra, I think that is the name), and they said they would ship the book tomorrow. So hopefully it is, or will soon be, on its way to me. Now, if your local bookstore has a copy of a book by Andrea (sp?) Scaroni about Silvio Scaroni (the WW1 ace) published 4-5 years ago, then I would be interested in their address. Enjoy! Frank.

I'll look for the Scaroni book and I let you know with a private message.
Best regards Gianandrea |
