Bombing attacks: NE England.

Anyone got any information on bombing attacks on ironworks at any of the following locations: Skinningrove, Saltburn, Loftus,
Warrenby or Redcar? All locations are in NE England.

Home Office Key Points mention the following as affected by bombing :-

24/25-7-41 Skinningrove Iron Co Ltd Saltburn no details

7/8-9-41 Skinningrove Iron Co. Ltd Saltburn-by-Sea no details

10/11-11-41 Skinningrove Iron Co Ltd Saltburn only slight damage

15/16-11-41 Dorman Long Iron and Steel works Redcar only slight damage

15/16-1-42 Skinningrove Iron Co Ltd Saltburn damage noted as more than slight

4/5-6-42 Water Main serving Dorman Long Iron and Steel works Redcar damaged time 0207 hrs

14/15-12-42 Gas supply to Welders shop at Dorman Long Iron and Steel Works Redcar stopped due to bombdamage at the Cleveland Works. Supply back on from other source on the 15th.

11/12-9-41 Skinninggrove Iron Co Ltd Satlburn-by-Sea slight damage?

3/411-41 Dorman Long Iron and Steel Wks Redcar - damage not serious

6/7-5-1941 South Durham Iron and Steel works Seaton-Carew slight damage

15/16-5-41 Dorman Long & Co Ltd damage slight? to Acklam Ironworks

21/22-10-1941 South Durham Iron and Steel Co Ltd Stockton-on-Tees damage to crane at Malleable Ironworks estimate 12 hours to repair.

6/7-7-42 Dorman Long and Co, Acklam IB's caused fire in pattern shop which burnt down, production not affected

7/8-7-1942 Dorman Long Brittania Works Middlesbrough minor damage

14/15-12-42 Dorman Long & Co Ltd Cleveland Iron and steel Works South Bank Middlesbrough 3 HE's at 2005 hrs caused extensive blast damage but not considered serious. Gas Main broken affecting supplies to the Redcar Plant
