Fairey Battle roundels
Looking at photographs of Battles during the May-June 40 period, I was wondering why their roundels were apparently repainted further aft on the fuselage.
Any hint?

Of the photos i have only 103sdn has the roundels just forward of the fin.

I have two different fotos from the Battle P 2251 Squadron 88 X1D RH- Operation Bouillon 11th May 1940 - from two Soldiers from the Giessen area. One from left and one from right site. Greetings Peglar
