Hi,

Who has the whole serie of this book : Modell Magazin War Album. Rare Naval, Military and Aviation Photographs for Modelers and Enthusiasts, from the Files of 'modell Magazin".

There are many issues available on Abebooks but any seller put the cover. Who could show us a scan of the cover and how many books available in this serie ?

There are 9 volumes in this series, each with a different cover. They were originally printed as 'Model Magazin Foto Archiv' in Germany but the earlier volumes were reprinted in the UK as 'Modell Magazin War Album'. The reprints are an exact copy of the original English-German text and both use the same grade of paper. They were edited by Heinz Birkholz and if you enter him as author in the Abebooks search engine, you will get both versions. These volumes were published from 1975-84 when Modell Magazin stopped covering aviation and Herr Birkholz started Flugzeug Magazin and continued his Foto Archiv's as the 12 volume Flugzeug series, which eventually led to the present 13 volume Jet & Prop series. Unfortunately, I do not have a scanner so cannot show you the covers.

Hello Peter,

Many thanks for the precise reply. I did not know that the original serie from Alba were reprinted in the UK as Modell Magazin War Album. I have the whole "original" on shelves and I will not have to look after this Modell Magazin War Album in the booksellers.
