13/12 - Bf109s on Nonauction site
Hi there,
... It's a Belgium database in fact... Here is a choice; but it seems some of them are known if not already published. I choose those I thought they aren't known. 1. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 2. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 3. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 4. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 5. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 6. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 7. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 8. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 9. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 10. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 11. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 12. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 13. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 14. http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/o...&rqdb=1&dbnu=1 I remember sending a mail to Falcon, saying "that man is a woman, isn't she?" It was not that obvious, but this happened with some pictures. Here it's quite obvious!!!! What's the equipment put on sand filter-supercharger? Pressure test device? BONUS: Page(s) is(are) here with all the pictures: http://pallas.cegesoma.be/pls/opac/p...l/opac_dsc.htm and main site entrance is here: http://www.cegesoma.be/docs/PhotCat/PhoCatNM.htm Chapters start in Dutch and/or french. got to "Crash", go to "Militaar" "ach"! go to "Luftfaarht" and so on.... Cheers, Franck. Last edited by ouidjat; 13th December 2010 at 15:21. Reason: other comments |

Re: 13/12 - Bf109s on Nonauction site
Hi there Franck,
Thanks so much for your new find... #8 might be an all RLM 76 camouflaged Bf 109 G-6/AS from 2./JG 3; given the date of the picture (18 4 1944), this fits well with the known camouflage of the first G-6/AS, as illustrated by "Schwarze 27", of 2./JG 3, depicted in Prien and Rodeike 1995, p. 134. #14 is a Bf 109 G-5, which might explain the pressure test.... Cheers Marc |

Hello Marc,
Welcome! I saw #14 as a G-5 too... Sure it's not a "sand filter". Shame on me. #8 Hmmmm... I see you're starting that stuff! Well done. Is it so obvious now? Blade width isn't bad too. Regards, Franck. |

About #14, no Silica Gel capsules in the lateral windscreen panels so it's not a G-5...
