Sunderland EK588 crashed 08 Jan 1944

'Short Sunderland in World War II' by Andrew Hendrie lists Sunderland EK588 of 270 Squadron as crashed 8 Jan 1944 on route to West Africa. This is not to be confused with Sunderland DW106 of 270 Squadron lost on route to West Africa on 18 Dec 1943.

Can anyone tell me anything about the loss of EK588 and names of the crew?

David
