eg sqn , plane he flew etc THANKS

have you found him in London gazette at least? Try get some serial number and maybe give us some context as to where you got his name.

Pritchie,

There is a F/O Harold Penman Smith (Can/J.14325), Royal Canadian Air Force, who was granted a Mention in Despatches on 1st January 1944. Is that airman your airman? I guess he was a Flight Instructor.

THANKS ADRIANO BAUMGARTER , i got a united servies ww2 show program signed by 18 an am trying to track people on it , sorry to say it does not give much info about sqns / units etc , 1 thing i did find out - capt JACK PROFUMO is none other than JOHN PROFUMO 1960s sex scandel M.P
i have put other names from this show up on here to see if i can get any help
also got a reunion card from 145th EAST CHESHIRE HEAVY BATTERY ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY but cant find anything about them either - maybe its me
