Information concerning the Loss of Gefr. Paul Hahn - 29.05.1944
Hi,

Can anyone tell me which unit Gefr. Paul Hahn was with and where he was killed/

Hi Rick,
think I found him, a Gefr. Paul Hohn (maybe missspelling) was killed in a He 111 of FFS B22 near Ybbs (Austria) , the He 111 was shot down by fighters at a training flight.
pilot Uffz. Friedrich Aubertin
WOp Gefr. Richard Ott
Eng. Uffz. Friedrich Hoheisel,
Gnr. Gefr. Gerhard Klinkowitz
Student Gefr. Paul Hohn (Hahn)
all killed

He 111H-11, 8390, BB+QE
Name in NVM is Hahn.

Hahn will be right - my informations from the "Verluste der Schulen und sonstigen Verbände" - theres also the serial hard to read.

WOp = Bf, Eng. = Bm, what does Gnr. equate to? I have him as 2.Bf.

Bs = Bordschütze = Gnr

but most time in german aircraft crewmembers had more then 1 function, the Eng. also was a Gnr and so on

Hi,

2/Lt. Henry J Woods . 5th F.S. claimed a He.111 over Austria on this date
( source "USAAF Credits MTO" by Frank Olynyk )
