Claim for He 111 in the mediterranean the 1st august 1943
Hi,
i have the information about a He 111 crashed in sea the 1st august 1943, without any given position. Does anybody have information if an allied pilot claimed a He111 in the western mediterranean area the 1st august 1943? Thanks a lot for help Lino

F/O Peter Anthony Bates + F/Sgt William Guy Cadman (R/O) of 600 Sqn claimed an He-111 at 0308 hours on Aug 1, 1943, N of Etna, in Beaufighter VIf V8701/D. Combat Report: Air 50/164-215, 216.
