Unknown emblem painted on Fw 44
Hello,
I am sure that I have already seen this emblem but I do not remember where... Can anyone provide any info on this emblem? Thanks! R

According to the caption of a photo on page 43 of "The Luftwaffe, From the Training School to the Front" by Meyer & Stipdonk [Schiffer, 1996], a Kl35B wearing this emblem belonged to FFS A/B 72 Markersdorf/St.Polten, Austria.
We also have a thread on the LEMB here showing an Ar76 coded DB+UI wearing the same emblem... Cheers Peter D Evans LEMB Administrator
