Question about puzzling USAF description

Laddies and Ladies,

at another (german) discussion board an excerpt from an USAF combat report makes me wondering.
It's stated there "...bombed a motor transport plant". A fellow asked about the meaning/translation of this.
I interprete it as "motor vehicle depot" (Fahrzeughalle/Fahrzeug-Depot).
Anyone to confirm or to correct me?
Thanks in advance for every response.

Regards
Norbert

Re: Question about puzzling USAF description

A plant in this context is a factory, so "Fahrzeugwerk."

Nick,

thanks a lot for clearifying that. Looks as that a little bonkhead like me has to learn a lot each day (not too bad at all).
