KG 26 Taxying Accident

A bit vague but does anyone have any record of the above? A white spinnered KG 26 He 111 taxied into a car-props and undercarriage of the He 111 would have been damaged (car a write off!). Definitely Norway late 1940 early 1941

Re: KG 26 Taxying Accident

Hi Chris,
I believe you might refer to the photos taken at Kjevik which just went on eBay. See photos He111 #4 and 5 here at Peter's eBay listing 5 Jan 2012 at LEMB. I've identified the airfield as Kjevik but have no date yet. My short comment on the photos at LEMB can be found in post #5.
Cheers
Göran

Thanks-I won those photos. I have some photos of Z/JG 77 at the same airfield and would guess same time so will have a look to see if I can get a match

Re: KG 26 Taxying Accident

Hi Norbert,
No, I don't believe it is the Aalborg incident we see on the photos which are from Kjevik airfield, Norway.
Best regards,
Goran
