Feldjagdabteilung d. LW - What is it?

Hello all,
Would anyone be able to shed any light on what type of unit Feldjagdabteilung d.LW 103 was?
I have a WP to a long serving Knights Cross winning pilot (a Major) and the last unit he served with from 1st May 1945 - and was discharged from - was 1./Feldjagdabteilung d.LW 103. I initially thought that it could be related to the late war Feldjäger Korps but they were formed as Bataillonen & Regimenter (so a designation would be along the lines of II./Feldjäger Rgt 1) and came under the responsibility of OKW so there wouldn't be a designation of 'der Luftwaffe'.
Prior to this unit, the Major served as a pilot in NJG 2 from Oct 1944.

(Thanks to GW for the Feldjäger information.)

I believe it was the Luftwaffe component of:

Bahnhofs-Wach- und Streifen-Abt. 103
Winter 1944/45 aus der Wehrmacht-Streifen-Abteilung Nordukraine; zuletzt in Prag (HGr. Mitte)

By 1945, these armed forces field police units included components from all branches: Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine. Their main task was to identify slackers and shirkers, and to track down deserters. They and the Feldjagdkommandos were a team. They handed down a lot of street corner summary justice when deserters and suspected deserters were found, and many of them ended up at the business end of a rope hanging from a lamppost.

Feldjäger Kommandos where founded in Dezember 1943. As their power came direct from the OKH - Ordnungstruppen, they have commanding power over all members (incl. senior officers up to an Oberst, d.h. Regimental-Commanders etc.) of the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS!!! This was the only case, that Wehrmacht-Officers have power over the members of the Waffen-SS.

An typical Feldjäger-Patrol (four Soldiers) was lead by an Hauptmann or an higher Staffofficer like Major or Oberstleutnant, the Feldjäger where 3 Feldwebel oder higher NCO, normal soldiers serve only as Driver or in the General Support Branch!. The leader of an Patrol must be an high decorated officer (see the Wehrpaß in this case!)

No secret intended, just didn't think it was relevant. It is Gerhard Richter of LG-1.

Gerhard Richter was Kdr. of IV./NJG 2 until 10 Mar 45 and he had been badly injured in a crash near Stendal just two months before that on 6/7 January, so he couldn't have been active with the Feldjäger cum Streifendienst for very long.

Not very long at all. He joined Feldjagdabteilung on the 1st May 1945.
