Georg Claus JG51
hello'
on 11/11/40 Georg Claus was shot down then he was a POW-or killed- I can't find anymore info on this guy..his he alive? then his plane was it a new Me 109F1-?-his this true.. sharon

Our holding in the EoE Luft Loss DB: "November 11, 1940: 1./JG51 Messerschmitt Bf109F-1 (5635). Shot down by fighters during escort sortie for Ju87s attack on convoy in the Thames Estuary off Clacton 11.40 a.m. FF Oberlt Georg Claus (Staffelkapitän) missing. Aircraft 100% write-off." Regards,

Claus became a POW per the sources I've recorded.
