at about 3:20 the schraege Musik installation on a Bf110 is clearly visibly. So much for secrecy.
Enjoy, Richard

Thanks for this Richard,

and it's not only the "Schräge Musik" You easily can spot out. Also clearly visible is the unit-code C9 for NJG 5 and the W.-Nr. of that bird as well.
Kind of funny and strange somehow. I wonder if this film ever reached German Cinemas...

Best regards
Norbert

Norbert !

I'm sure that it did. Who then knew about the technology of a "Schräge Musik" and the systematic of a unit-code "C 9" for NJG5 and a "Werk-Nr." of a war device. Surely not the public, which visited the cinema, to be first indoctrinated by this kind of "Wochenschau".

This thoughts are all post-war suggestions when one knew extremely more about the system of unit-coding, Werk-Nr.'s and NF-units in Germany and elsewhere.

Best wishes and a good first Day of May 2012 !

borsto

Hello

The Bf110 crew stepping out of the Bf110 is that of Leopold Fellerer who shows his victory bars on the tail a few seconds later in the film footage.

Outtakes appeared as photographs in the wellknown Held & Nauroth book 'Nachtjagd'

All the best, Marcel Hogenhuis / Venlo

The Ju88 crew at the start of the clip is that of Alfons Koester. Great footage for anyone wanting to depict or model his aircraft. Thanks for sharing!
