I would be interested to know your source that WNr 2196 was also a P-2. It is not mentioned as such by Volker Koos in his article for Jet & Prop number 2/2010. Both WNr 2177 and 2196 are only listed as B models. Cheers Stig

Hi Stig and all
Thanks to the Prop and Jet pointer. I didn't have a copy of this. I have good evidence for these being in the He111B block, as I had stated in the early post. But I accept that I only have references to a few surrounding He111P-2 WNr, which appeared to suggest that these numbers were part of a He111P-2 block as well, but no certainty to this. PLEASE ignore my previous comment!  Ian
