Walter Dahl's last victory
Supposedly his last victory was on April 26,1945 over a P-51 Mustang. There is a good description of this victory in his book.
In his book is clearly states that he was flying a FW-190 - " inzwischen organisierten Fw-190" yet the last book on the Me-262 by Colin Heaton states this as a Me-262 victory. Also the only P-51 lost in the vicinity was 44-72967 of the 354th FG supposedly lost to AA. Any other candidates? |
