V-1 :

Note: I would like to draw attention to the exhaust tube on this V-1 which is definitely late war. I have read that continued improvements were made to the V-1 during its operational service, including an increase in speed. I have seen a similar photo of such an oversized exhaust on a V-1 mounted as a static display at what appeared to be an American military base.

Note: The second photo album is primarily about naval subjects but includes a nice shot of a Bf-109, marked 4, in flight, that is near the bottom.

Usual disclaimer,
Ed

Yes, and a nice set of photos showing the traditional ceremony held for sailors when "crossing the line", that is equator, for the first time.

Thanks Ed. (for all, not for this set ...)

In 1st photo album; intersting painting on Bf 109 E cowling, and white "Winkel Dreieck". Pity it's too small.

Franck.
