Hi Franck

was interested in the Stab II./JG 3 G-2 (?) series - didn't see any of them in Prien anywhere - is this Ltn. Max-Bruno Fischer?

Re: eBay: some Bf 109s on eBay

Salut Neil,

Of course it's a Bf 109F, not a G-2.
For the details I really don't know, I don't have the good Prien volumes concerning that period...
Max-Bruno Fischer did score 6. Here we have 10 victories. Can't be ...

Nice collection, Franck. Thanks!
Can you please add count numbers for each link? Then its easy to quote... and please empty lines between, for separation. :-)

Re: eBay: some Bf 109s on eBay

Hi David,

Yes I can!

Any clue for that WNr.2315 (or 2515 or 2815) ?

@Neil;
Again there is an added armoured windscreen; can't be a Bf 109 G-2.
Somebody knows who flew that machine with 10 scores?

Regards, Franck.

Re: eBay: some Bf 109s on eBay

4, 5 & 6
I have something:
Bf 109 F-2, WNr.8975, Uffz. Heinz Kemethmüller on 2-Aug-1941 (or 9-Aug-1941 ?) Fl.Pl. Wassilkow - 40%. Luftkampf with enemy fighters.

WRONG SEE UNDER!!!!!!

Does it match with scoreboard ?? Period matches with camouflage on cowling ...

Cheers, Franck.

Where does the information came from?

Regarding his flight log on this day (02.08.1941) he started in Bjelaja Zerkow and landed in Bjelaja Zerkow without an mentioned damage of his a/c. (On 09.08.1941 he flew the "black 5".)

Kemethmüller was in III.group, the a/c is from II.group.

For the II./JG3 machine;

noticed that both Gordon Gollob and Franz Beyer had about 10 claims each in early July 1941. Also of note is that the Stab machines had white codes in summer 1942.

Re: eBay: some Bf 109s on eBay

Hi Don,

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm not convinced.
Gollob was Group Kdr since 27/6/1941 and Beyer was flying a "Schwarze 5" in August 41 while Stfkpt. ...

Regards, Franck.
