Ju 88 crash, Belgium, Oct1st'43
Hello,
October 1st 1943, a Ju 88 crashed at Bulsom ,a hamlet near Kampenhout, situated 4 km NE of Melsbroek and 16 km NE of Brussels). The aircraft crashed in a street, named koeistraat and destroyed several houses. Three civilians were killed, one was seriously injured. Has any one got information on this particular Ju 88 (e.g. unit, names and fate of crew, code on the fuselage, Werknummer, mission for that day)? Best regards, Dirk |

Re: Ju 88 crash, Belgium, Oct1st'43
Thanks Ed,
The village of Perk borders on Bulsom. So it must be the Ju 88 you mentioned. Two villagers instead of three were killed. Dirk |

More precision regarding the crew of this Ju 88 : it's Uffz. Otto Decristoforo and Gefr. Ludwig Lust. The three crew members are buried at Lommel.
