I have 6-8 different photos from this particular wreck from two members of that squadron and also a diary entry from a third one, who also visited the wreck and wrote many things about its condition and crew (the gunner was killed, the pilot was wounded quite seriously and was transferred to a field hospital - maybe he also died shortly after).
I don't know, what you don't get it with that photo: it was taken on the 5th of July, 1945 near Kharkov-Grobly and this Il-2 was shot down on the same day. (I forwarded that photo to a few person, maybe you get it through one of them later). You definitely don't have accurate sources of this photo's origin from Russia, since it was taken by Hungarians, not by Russians.
I assumed, that this Il-2 was shot down by a German fighter, since they claimed a very high number of Il-2 kills on that day and the Hungarians only a few (generally in such circumstances impossible to determine exactly, who shot down who). There were anti-aircraft artillery claims too against Il-2-s (including Hungarian ones).

Yeah and alright, though you didn't really address my Q's , secondly you posted a wrong year ...was 1943 if already and not 1945 !

I am enclosing the mentioned photo from my aces book, page 191. I did answer to most of your questions, related to the Il-2 except of the entirely off topic one about the Hungarian assets (since it is an Il-10 topic in the Allied subforum). And since you forgot to introduce and name yourself (I use my real name here), I don't know, why you expect from me to post unpublished photos here.

I was hopping you would post a better shot of the IL-2 posted by me above .
