Focke Wulf 58C in a french lake

Hello,

This plane was lost the 30 march 1943. The wreckage of the almost intact plane was found in february 1988 at the botom of the "lac du Bourget" in Savoie (112 meters deep).

Likely the same aircraft?

The Fw58, lying in a mountain sweetwater lake at such a depth will be preserved well. Better than in Norvegian lakes, even the plane´s canvas looks fine...

Been discussed many times previously. IIRC either one of the crew members or one of the family don't want it recovered due to the fact one (?) of the crew died in the crash.
