Fw190D-9 at Pretzsch
Hello,
reading Helmut Reiche's "Kampfeinsätze der Helbig-Flyers 1944/45" I came across two pictures of a Fw190D-9 undergoing maintenance at Pretzsch in the spring of 1945. Remarkable is that all the mechanics are female auxiliaries! I am a bit curious about the location of the pictures; Pretzsch was a base for parts of IV./EJG1 and III./JG110 in 1945, but to my knowledge these units were not equipped with Fw190D's. Maybe another member of the forum has further information or ideas about its unit affiliation. Regards, Michael
