K. Liebert - bordfunker in NJG crew?

Hi,

Just bought a portrait of a Luftwaffe airman with notation on back naming him as a K. Liebert from VII NJG. Was there such a man and what was his eventual fate?

Thanks

Rick

Hi Rick,
There were no such thing as VII NJG. NJGs had Arabic numbers (e.g NJG3), Gruppen had Roman numbers (III/NJG3) and the highest found was V.
