Re: Fw 58 book - Progress report!

Just a small correction regarding names: "Ferencant Vadja" is actually Ferenc-Antal Vajda.

Good luck with your book, Sergio, and keep us posted.

Thanks Dénes. He uses "Franz" so I got "Ferencant Vadja" from his email address. I´m going to correct it in this message and my files. I´d like to check with you the number of Weihes in Romania. May I contact you off line again about this?

No problem, just was curious if you need anything. I cannot exclude I will be talking with a potential (I am not sure if actually flew it) pilot of it within a few weeks. Never asked him about that, unfortunatelly he has no photos, but C-47s and L-200.
Cheers

Re: Fw 58 book - Progress report!

Hi Sergio,

Message No 4 from Horst originally had two pictures attached (or possibly someone else's message). One of these was of the radio equipment area and, true to form, the aircraft's radio call sign (factory code) was painted on. This may have been useful in identifying the particular aircraft or filling a space in the production record. It was not clear enough for me to be sure what it actually was but, from memory, it was something like CE+DP - probably totally wrong due to a mixture of eyesight, resolution and memory!

Regards,

David
