This is confirmed by Hafsten/Arheim in their book and the aircraft was F.58

Don Willis is listed with the rank of 'kvartermester' (Quarter Master) but I don't know what that was comparable to in let's say RAF.

He is not listed as a pilot with the Norwegian Navy.
