The first plane D-AHQA to me appears to be a Siebel Si 204. A Ju 86 tail can be seen in the background.

Re: eBay Ju86 wreck Tempelhof 1945

Thanks Snautzer for sharing these with us! Also very interesting are the following shots:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Pho...item20f8160955

Can someone please identify those two Lufthansa planes (Ju 52 D-???? "(Paul?) Rohlandt" + Ju 86 D-???? "Hohentwiel")? Is the latter one Ju 86 V2 D-ABUK?

Cheers,
Christian

Ju52 could be D-AKUA. It landed on Tempelhof 22 april 1945 and never left
D-AKUA would have had wrknr 6840

Deutsche Lufthansa 1939-1945 - Der Kranich in Tubulenzen makes note of this pg 156-157 but not with the name.

Re: eBay Ju86 wreck Tempelhof 1945

Hi Snautzer,

that's interesting - I have D-AKUA as AirMin 102, captured at Flensburg by the British and flown to Great Britain. Hmm, wonder what might be correct...

Re: eBay Ju86 wreck Tempelhof 1945

Communique with Günther Ott, Lufthansa historian, over the weekend, revealed the tail belonged to 0009 D-AHYP and "Hohentwiel" 0504 D-ADJO. We did not discuss the Ju 52/3m, but I think its possibly not 6840 / D-AKUA / AirMin 102. -Ed.
