ID of Lt. A. J. Belling FAA in Indian Ocean

According to Chris Shores Air War for Burma, Lt. A. J. Belling of 808 Sqn. (H.M.S. Khedive) made a claim for an Oscar probable on 15 April 45. I have not been able to find such an officer in the Navy List. One possibility is that he was misidentified. The closest name I can find is Lt. (A) John Bellingham (RNVR), although he is not specifically mentioned as serving in 808 Sqn.

Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

Thanks,
Tom

I have him as Arthur John Bedding. I haven't checked the online RN officers lists yet.

Enjoy!

Frank.
