Thief of Scanned Aviation Photos/Manuscripts

Unfortunately, an opportunist thief has stolen external hard-drives with an eclectic amount of scanned Coastal Command strike wing photographs, (North Coates, Leuchars, Dallachy, Portreath, Banff, Davidstow Moor etc.,) which I have built up since the early 1990s, together with research, manuscripts, etc., sadly they also included scanned WW1 photographs of No. 1 School of Military Aeronautics in Reading, photographs of Sir Arthur Harris and his family whom I knew from 1977 to 1980's.

A plethora of other aviation material, I'm not sure the person who stole the items will realise what they are, and hope fully the external hard drive's will turn up in a porn shop in the next couple of weeks so Thames Valley Police advise me.

Just thought I'd let you know, should anyone be offered anything.

keep them peeled

Andy Bird

When I become king of the world, that will be a hanging offence. Just saying!

I also hope they'll turn up but I presume Thames Valley Police mean in a pawn shop instead of a porn shop ????

Hi
Maybe worth keeping a eye on ebay, if the seller views the files, they may try selling it there
