Bf 109 Reichenbach

Hello!

Found this picture from a Bf 109 E (?) Werks-Nr. 3820.
It was taken on September 1947 near Airfield Reichenbach.
Must be a "leftover" from JG 106.
Can anyone provide any details to the history of this old Emil?

Thank you in advance!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

Hi Wolfgang, Bf 109 3820 was an E-7 model built by Mtt Regensburg, Stammkennzeichen GA+LV. Sorry, no other info.

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

The aircraft was flown over from Jüterbog-Damm (14:35) to Wertheim (16:00) on 19.01.1945 and from Wertheim (11:45) to Reichenbach (12:40) on 23.01.1945 and belonged probably to I./JG106.

Greetings
Rasmussen

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

Many thanks, Wolfgang! The latter machine seems to be an Mtt built Bf 109 G-14.

Cheers

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

Hi Wolfgang,

this site http://www.stammkennzeichen.de/ is giving it as RX+DU 1./JG106, White 82, and photo taken in August 1944 ...

In the mean time, 411138 is given as VP+OU.

Regards, Franck.

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

RX+DU would be WNr 411924. The 4111?? block seems to have either StKz VO+O? or VP+O? letters. I have both variants listed - VP+O? is based on the Schmoll list

Re: Bf 109 Reichenbach

Hello!

Hmmmm-seems to be something wrong!
Got these informations from the loss list JG 106-sorry!
Wrong picture? Wrong Stammkennzeichen? Wrong Werksnummer?
Who knows!
Thank you for correction!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang
