Re: 11 OTU crash P/O Crook Killed 25 July 1941
I am trying to get ANY information on crew - aircraft and how P/O Frank Crook was KIA on the above date. I have very little information so any help would be good. I know where he is buried in Southgate cemetery, near London and believe he was part of 11 OTU, traded as a Air Gunner.

Well I have just found out the following, guess he must only been made up just before he was killed. Anyone know the location or anymore information please?
25th July Wellington I R1148 11 OTU Spalding Airborne from Bassingbourn on a night cross-country sortie, the aircraft crashed 2355 just west of Spalding and caught fire. P/O R.M. Hill KIA, P/O C.H. Brown KIA, Sgt K.G. Chamberlain inj, Sgt E. Shipley KIA, P/O C.E.B. Jones KIA, F/S F.C. Crook KIA.
