Can anyone help identify (with an image) this Beaufighter panel please
Trying to work out what it is (circled in Red) and looking for a better image of it if possible? Cheers, MP

Hello MP,
See page 127 in the SAM Publication "The Bristol Beaufighter" by R.A. Franks. "Emergency Release handle for the top hatch in the canopy". Alex |

Re: Can anyone help identify (with an image) this Beaufighter panel please
This photo shows the release lever pulled down but the upper hatch still in place. It think the whole panel over the pilot's head could swing up and open to the right.
