Soviet ace Sergey Kurzenov memoirs?

Hi guys

I believe Sergey Kurzenov published his memoirs in Germany in 1964. It may have been simply called "Jagdflieger"

Can anyone enlighten me, please? Is the book available?

Cheers
Brian

Re: Soviet ace Sergey Kurzenov memoirs?

Brian,

The German edition was published in 1964 as Unter uns Land und Meer, which is a translation of Pod nami Zamlya I More (The Land and Sea Are Beneath Us) published in 1960.

Kirche,
Are any of his other books available in electronic form? I would assume at this point it is very hard to find copies of the original books. Are there any aviation oriented used book stores in Russia? And are any of them on the Internet?

Enjoy!

Frank.

Hi Frank,
I only saw his memoir "Под нами - земля и море" - they were published on the free resource (other secondary):
http://militera.lib.ru/memo/russian/..._sg/index.html
and a short story from the anthologies: http://profilib.com/chtenie/123134/a...k-2-lib-94.php

On sale sometimes there are paper version from private sellers - for example:
https://www.avito.ru/taganrog/knigi_...63_g_665029724
http://www.findlib.ru/authors/Kurzenkov
There are story "На сопках Ура-Губы" (1958) in anthologies:

Best regards,
Kirill
