Robert Plewa - 26 July 1943

Hello

Leutnant Robert Plewa (8 victories, killed in flying accident 29 September 1943) of 8./JG Herrmann damaged a RAF Lancaster four-engined bomber on the night of 25/26 July 1943. However, his aircraft was damaged by the bomber's return fire and he bailed out apparently near Wuppertal. Does the usual loss list information exist regarding this incident? Many thanks.

Horrido!

Leo

Hello

Another question regarding this fellow. I came across a photograph from his Wehrpass showing his postings. I can make out some of the writing but not all:

1./Kompanie of Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung 47 from ??.??.1936 to 13.3.1937
Undecipherable from 13.3.1937 to 9.11.1938
Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 62 from 10.11.1938 to 31.7.1939
Undecipherable from 1.8.1939 to 5.11.1939
2./Kompanie of Fluglehrerschule Brandenburg-Briest from 6.11.1939 to 1.1.1940
Luftkriegsschule 5 from 2.1.1940 to 21.6.1943
JG 106 from 22.6.1943 to 14.7.1943
JG 300 from 18.7.1943 to 13.9.1943 (I presume this refers to his time with III./JG 300)
I./JG 300 from 14.9.1943 to 29.9.1943

Can anyone fill in the blanks? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I should point out that if the owner of this document objects to my posting the scan on this thread I will immediately remove it.

Re: Robert Plewa - 26 July 1943

Doesn't appear that any details for his aircraft were reported. The only reference I have for this incident is from the Lorant JG 300 history.
