Has anyone any idea of the Beaufighter operations flown by 46 Sqn 4-5 Sep 44?

Thought so-all the other Sqns (603, 252, 227, 16 SA) were anti-shipping/strike whilst the only other N/F sqn was 108. Hopefully 46 shot down this mystery Ju 88 I am interested in...I live in hope!

46 squadron was scrambled that night but evidently no contact! I have copied details from ORB in will pop them in the post, together with 152/609 notes for 28/11/40. Cheers Brian

Thanks Brian-mystery deepens. Both Sqns scrambled, saw e/a, did not engage but German survivor sai they were got by Beaufighters. Thanks again for your help
