Walter Oesau's White 13+ WNr.1342.

Hi is it known when Walter Oesau took over Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 White 13+
WNr.1342 or when it was lost.

Numerous photos exist of this a/c and his scoreboard on the tail.

Best regs,
Steve.

I have the following fate of 1342:

1940-07-29, 6./JG 51, Bf 109 E-1, 1342, 8 gelbe, Arennen bei Pas-de-Calais (Desvres?)
Flugzeugführer Fw Hemmerling, Eduard, verletzt
Notlandung nach Luftkampf mit Spitfire über Kanal. Bruch 100 %. Fw Hemmerling seinen Verletzungen erlegen.

Re: Walter Oesau's White 13+ WNr.1342.

Hi Chris yes of course 1432 apologies, I was posting from memory .
I did get all the numbers right, although unfortunately not in the right order!!

Thank you Matti also for the later damage reports. Much appreciated.
So to repeat my question, does anybody know when WNr.1432 and Oesau started missions with JG20 and later III/JG51.

Steve.

Re: Walter Oesau's White 13+ WNr.1342.

Since nobody else as responded, would any of our French readers could confirm whether its established when Oesau started flying White 13+ W.Nr.
1432 , from an in depth article in the magazine Aces No.10 May to June 2019.

Best regs,
Steve.
