Bf 109G-12
Maybe this was common knowledge, but I just noticed it. This photo has been around for years, but I just noticed the Bf 109 on the left looks to be a G-12. Looks like 5 or 35 is painted on the engine cowling and has the correct canopy opening for the G-12.
