Who bombed Mostar on the 14-1-44 ?

Can someone tell me Who bombed Mostar airfield on the 14-1-44.

The town was bombed by 68 B-24s of 449th and 450th BG with 132.75 tons of bombs from 10.40 to 10.59am.

140 B-17s of 2nd, 97th, 99th and 301st BG dropped 9648 fragmentation bombs and 213 tons of 500lb bombs on the airfeld (the brunt of the attack was directed at the airfield north of the town ) from 11.27am to 12am.

More target was attacked in 1944 by US forces and the same target's was politicaly choosen by the Tito's side.

In attach is one early occasion- bombing of the Mostar done by Italians.

Thanks for the info do you have any detals of the escort ?

I know that the 82nd F.G. claimed 1-0-0 Fw190 and 2-0-2 Me109's all over Mosiar between 08:45-11:32, any iders which Luftwaffe units were involved/losses ?

Nothing more than you have or 82nd FG website gives.

Elements of IV/JG 27 , 13 a/c scrambled, Obltn. Saar bailed out injured near Ljuti Dolac, returned to the unit. Another belly landed, but a/c taken to airfield's workshop.
Most of the aircraft of IV/JG 27 hit on the ground by bomb splinters.
