Re: eBay: Allied intrest
I know K8032 (formerly L8032) quite well as she is in our local Museum, the Shuttleworth Trust at Old Warden; various markings- L8032/ K8032 (72 Sqn.), K7985 (73 Sqn.) also a 1940 scheme (247 Sqn.)
I've got a note that she was in storage until 1943 but then one of the many types in 61 OTU. Some difference here I think but I havn't got Andy's book. Nick

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Nick
L8032 and K8032 are not the same aircraft L8032 never left Britain and became G-AMRK (reg 16.5.1952) Refurbished by Gloster in 1953 it went to the Shuttleworth collection in 1981. As with basically all warbirds it seems it has obviously been carrying a number of false markings in its days.... Cheers Stig
