III./JG 11 in February 1945

Does anyone have the details of: (a) a Bf 109G-14 of III./JG 11 made an emergency landing at Bonn-Hangelar on 24 February 1945; and (b) another of the same unit that was 85% damaged there on the 19th? I'm also interested in a III./JG 11 machine that crashed at Krefeld on 24 February.

According to some rather sketchy notes I took in 1985, these are all listed together in the Gen. Qu. 6. Abt. records (I don't have a microfilm reader to hand just now or I'd look them up myself).

Thanks.

Nick,

Crashed Enemy Aircraft report #269 lists Bf 109 G-14, WNr. 463118, found burned out at Bonn-Hangelar on 45/05/12. Interestingly, I show its unit as III./JG 11 and its crash date as 45/02/24--with you as my source!

I think I'm the "source" in that I once posted something that asked if anyone could resolve an near-similarity between a loss record and an Allied wreck report!

I never did solve the problem.
