HELP! I'm looking for the names of those KIA/MIA from, in particular, JG2, JG300, JG301 & NJG3,5, & 6 on 24th Feb of that year. Also, how can one find the burial sites of those lLW personnel lost during WW2? Thankyou.....

Fana:

You are asking for a lot of information. On that date during the Big Week, over 60 Luftwaffe fighter day and nightfighter pilots were lost. Information is difficult to come by and requires a lot of work to peice together, especially when multiple types of units are involved.

Many people on this board have worked years to create data bases of such information. A lot of research and work. Many might wish to help, but most prefer to trade information. What are you offering in return?

Re: BIG WEEK, (still) Feb 1944

Thank you very much, Brian and DDT, for your replies. I have been researching Big Week for some time. If you are interested, I have all the 8th AF MACRs and Bomb Group Mission Reports, plus the KTB of 11/JG1 & ZG26 which cover this period.
Feel free to make pm contact if you would like further information.......
