Alain,

I have an entry that this P-47 went down at Eckum-Rommerskirchen (German Report J-2951)

Try Veterans Association of 22nd Fighter Squadron/36 Fighter Group if listed on Internet.

Hello Alain

1st Lt Holland William D.(KIA) O-886028 (36th FG 22nd FS) was not in the 36th FG at the moment of his dead , he was with the 9WRS P-51D-5-NA #44-13780 MACR 11905 , he crashed somewhere nearby Liège
The 30/1/1945

#44-32781 was indeed like Jörg said crashed at Eckum-Rommerskirchen at 11:15 Flak but the pilot was the 1st Lt Bretana Manuel (KIA) O-1301422 36th FG 53rd FS 2/2/1945

Regards
Phil
