Rosieres en Santerre Airfield

I was trying to find the location of the Rosieres Airfield on the Google Maps, the location given on a site was 49 48N, 02 45E . On checking this the arrow comes out just by Maucourt to the east of Rosieres village. However I could not find the site of the airfield could anyone help please,

The location you have is quite good...Not a lot left, isn't it?

P.S. I also recommend to use Geoportail (Géoportail) which has a better resolution than Google in this area.

Thanks very much that was really useful. Ofton even when runways have been removed their location can be found on aerial photos, but not in this case,

Quite a perfect match with the today maps!
Some remains of the airbase are noticeable.
