Unknown RKT of KG1 'Hindenburg'

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I have three photographs of a parade by KG1 'Hindenburg' at an airfield. There are three other photo's in the group and if anyone is interested, I will post them. Marching past is an Oberleutnant wearing the DKiG and what looks like the Knights Cross with Oakleaves but I might be mistaken about the oakleaves. I have tried researching this man but can't find anything. Any thoughts or ideas would be gratefully appreciated.
Regards,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Your RKT in the picture is Oberleutnant Helmut Sprung. He was awarded the RK on 12 Nov. 43 as a Leutnant/pilot in 7./ KG 1. Sprung finished the war with LG1. Sorry, Sprung was not an Oakleaves recipient.

Regards

Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,
I am most grateful for your help. Whether he was an oakleaves recipient is not important but what is, is the identification of the man.
Thanks again,
Andy
