269 Sqdn: 21 or 22/06/1940 attack on Scharnhorst?

According to the 269 Squadron Old Comrades Association Hudsons of 269 Squadron attacked the Scharnhorst on 22/06/1940, together with Beauforts of 442 Squadron. Obviously 442 sqdn = 42 Sqdn (or 224) but...

42 Squadron lost 3 Beauforts in an attack on the Scharnhorst on 21/06/1940.
Two Hudsons of 224 Sqdn and one from 233 Sqdn also attacked the Scharnhorst on 21/06/1940.

Does anyone know if these were three different attacks on two seperate days, or was the attack by 269 Sqdn also on 21/06/1940?

Regards,

Bart

Bart;

I am at home away from my records, but I am 99% sure all the air ttacks were delivered in a relatively narrow window on the "same day" However, the period was during high summer well north and was basically during a time frame of 24 hours of daylight. If I recall correctly, most of the attcks came late in the day and this squadron may simply have attacked after the clock "rolled over" at midnight.

I can check when I get home.

Mark
