Westland Lysander, 2 Sqdn, 22/05/1940

Does anyone know more about this aircraft and if LAC H.G. Jones belonged to its crew? If so, why was he buried in the UK? If not, who was his pilot and how did he get killed?

Leading Aircraftman (Air Gnr.) Horace G. Jones, RAF 534886, 2 Sqdn., age 20, 22/05/1940, Nantyglo and Blaina (Blaina) Cemetery, UK

You really need to get Peter Cornwell's book! Jones was in P1672 which was destroyed when unreleased bombs detached at Bekesbourne. He was killed, Plt Off G Grant-Govan uninjured. Henderson was in L6849 shot down at Pihen

Do you happen to know via Peters book what happened with the air gunner of P/O Henderson?
