J6m2 Raiden questions
Were there any aces piloting the J6m2 Raiden? An interceptor armed with four 20mm cannons, and used to intercept B-29 bombers over the home islands. I know these planes had some teething problems, but i would like to know if any one aircraft shot down five or more B-29's. thanks for your time.

Yes, there were IJNAF aces who the Raiden, Susumu Ishihara being one that I can remember offhand. However, whether or not he scored 5 vics in the Raiden or a single Raiden I don't know. Try and find the FAOW on the type, the latest version, not the older ones.
