RAF missions 1944 - wave organisation

Hi folks - first post here.

I'm researching the RAF raid on Frankfurt 22/23 March 1944.
I'm try to establish times over the target. (similar approach to this thread Time over target ~ Peernemunde August 1943)

I've got loads of unanswered questions but to keep it to one topic I like to know more about how the waves of a raid organised.

How did they assemble?
Did they have different H hours - or did the H hour just apply to wave 1?

Was it something like this:
1st wave H1 hrs groups a,b PFF x
2nd wave H2 hrs groups c,d PFF y
3rd wave H3 hrs groups e,f PFF z

Which records would I look in to find out this information?
Are there any books that explain this sort of stuff?

Many thanks
Robert
