|  487 Sqdn RNZAF 24/02/1944 ops Hello , During the night of 24/25/02/1944 487 Sqn RNZAF flew intruders operations to the airfield of St-Trond in Belgium at that time the homebase of II./NJG 1.During this operation Mosquito HX949 was lost over Belgium , Mosquito LR343 crashed over Nuthampstead , both crews were killed.Is there someone who can help me with additional information on this ops , the aircraft and crews involved ? Thanks |

			 Alain, Crew of HX949 were F/O Eugene H. Barbet and F/O Peter R. Mitchell, both buried at Heverlee. (From: 2nd TAF, Vol. 1 and CWGC). Crash site reportedly at Moustier-sur-Sambre (near Jemeppe). Regards, Leendert |
