Uffz Malik crashed on 18.dec.1944 b. Kirchhellen Bf109G 90 %, who has more on the case ???
Was IV.JG27 a front-unit at that time ??

Are you sure about the name/unit? I can't find a Uffz. Malik as belonging to IV./JG 27. I've looked in the Prien/Rodeike and also in the Motorbuch Verlag book about JG 27.

Hi Remi,

The Werner Girbig book on JG27 shows IV/27 as being formed in May 1943 under Hpt.Rudolf Sinner. Its first loss was Uffz.Sclun on 26-3-43 in the 'Mittelmeerraum'. The loss list of pilots shows Ofhr. Komorowski killed on 18th Dec. but does not show Uffz. Malik, so perhaps he was not injured. Dr. Priens book shows similar details, for 18-12-44 it shows the loss of Komorowski and the loss of a second Bf 109G but with pilot and aircraft details unknown,
